Born and raised in Toronto, M. G. Field attended the universities of Laval, Toronto and Guelph, where he completed a master’s degree in philosophy. During the course of a varied teaching career, he has published more than a dozen articles, stories and poems. Since 2006, he has been a teacher and guidance counselor at a federal penitentiary in Ontario, Canada.
Incarceration is his first novel.
